Two-step verification
Turn on TOTP and require two-step verification for the whole organisation.
Two-step verification protects the account even if the password were to leak. Värn uses TOTP – one-time codes from an authenticator app.
Turn it on for your account
Open the security settings
Go to Settings → Security and click Enable.
Scan the QR code
Use an authenticator app, for example Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator or a password manager such as 1Password. You can also enter the key manually.
Confirm with a code
Enter the six-digit code from the app. From then on, you are asked for a code when you sign in.
Require two-step verification in the organisation
Administrators can turn on Require two-step verification under Settings → Security. Members without two-step verification then have to turn it on before they get access to the organisation.
Turn it on for yourself first
So that you cannot lock yourself out, you must have two-step verification turned on before you can require it of others.
Changing phone
Turn off two-step verification under Settings → Security while you still have access to the old app, then turn it on again with the new device.
